The Marriott

This long-exposure shot featuring the Marriott Hotel is one of my first shots using a Canon 5D Mark III. It is worth noting that this is a back-to-basics shot for me as I am now keen to work on my composition to make the shot a lot more interesting.

Here, I have taken advantage of the ambient lighting to brighten the scene and emphasize the Marriott Hotel and the car light trails to liven up what would have been a boring road.

Body: Canon 5D Mark III
Lens: Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8
Settings: ISO 100, Aperture f/20, Exposure Speed 30 Seconds, Focal Length 36mm

  1. Car Light trails... so amazing

  2. Nice answers in replace of the question with real point of view and explaining about that.
